Andrew completed a course on Wednesday the 15th of May 2024 and started work with TMD Friction five days later. We couldn’t be any happier with the swift response from TMD Friction to progress Andrew into employment.

The Level 2 Certificate Lean Organisation Management is accredited by NCFE and was requested by the employer we work with, TMD Friction. Lean management is the art of continuous improvement, focusing on efficiency through minimising waste and maximising value, guided by principles of relentless innovation and respect for people.
TMD Friction is a highly valued client of Orangebox so we were thrilled when we asked to deliver a four day Lean Management course so they could recruit freshly upskilled candidates for their immediate vacancies.
Melissa completed a course on Thursday the 16th of May with us. The week she completed the course she was also interviewed by TMD Friction and was offered a start date for Monday the 3rd of June. Melissa gained some excellent feedback from her interview. Paula, our tutor, clearly did a great job. We are very proud of our delivery team and even more so of Melissa.

Nichola completed a course on Thursday the 16th of May 2024 and started work with TMD Friction on Monday the 3rd of June. They said Nichola’s previous experience in similar roles ‘shone through’ which highlights how well our employability element supports our learners for their interviews.
“I had social anxiety and didn’t like the thought of being around people I didn’t know and I’m also dyslexic and was worried this would affect my ability to complete the course. I needed to get back into work and to better myself anyway I can.
My tutor Paula was amazing she allowed me extra time to complete tasks and was excellent at explaining things she made me feel at ease it was refreshing to see a tutor actually enjoy what they do.
I feel optimistic about what the future holds for me and know that even with dyslexia anything is possible.”
