Security Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently working in partnership with local employers as they seek to provide training for Security Officer roles.

A Security Officer ensures the safety of the area they are assigned to watch. Their duties include monitoring the premises, responding to emergency situations and keeping track of all incidents on-site.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Patrolling and securing the area.
  • Monitoring and analysing CCTV camera footage.
  • Guarding valuables in a secure area.
  • Protecting the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues
  • Responding to alarms and emergencies.
  • Communicating any irregularities with management.
  • Keeping an incident report record.
  • Following procedures for various initiatives including fire prevention, traffic control and accident investigations
  • Checking visitors in and out of the area.
  • Escorting visitors around the premises.
  • Ensuring compliance with government regulations

TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:

Complete our 16 day course and receive the following qualifications and guaranteed interviews with our Security employers:

  • Level 1 Certificate in Physical Health and Wellbeing.
  • Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Safeguarding and Prevent.
  • Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work.
  • Level 2 Award for Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industries.
